my 3rd valentines day card to you in 2005.

to repeat what i've said earlier, v day doesn't hold much meaning to me but i like to do these theme photos... and my main motive with them is to please you, i mean, why else would i bother with it. of course i find them fun too, and with this one i learned quite a bit about lighting again, it was very challenging for me. i'll post a 'tutorial' in scraps on how to shoot glass objects, although i recomment you avoid shooting them if u can.

with this years valentines day photos i aimed for a slightly commercial 'card' look. the heart is pig's bought from the meat dept of a grocery store. it was all cleab when i bought it and i washed it as well but somehow, during the 24 hours it was in that jar, it let a lot of blood out :o the heart was 1,50 euros and the jar from a thrift store 2,50 euros.

I like that. Valentines day doesn't mean much to me either, Its so cheesy and i hate it. Someone somewhere needs to make an Anti-Valentines day...i would deffinately celebrate that! I like how you didn't take the traditional road to Valentines day..with the cheesy flowers and fake hearts and lovey dovey people. That is so damn over rated. Awsome piece
