i like to look at this as i listen to the song on this trailer ([link]). i was aiming for a peaceful, sad, melancholic photo.
i think she'll die in 2 seconds. and i wonder if her heart stopped beating already. i don't know what exactly happened but i believe she fought hard and now the game is over. the sun is supposedly morning sun, which creates a beautiful contrast to the fact that her life is ending. the sweat on the skin and small spatters of blood are telling their story of what happened, but, it doesn't matter anymore of course.
background
this was inspired by the new version of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. there was some scene or moment which got my imagination going, i can't remember it anymore but i don't even want to see it again. the purpose was not to imitate, but just do something based on that one sight and feeling i got. the music from the trailer ([link]) finally helped me to pick the right shot from the big set of photos that i took. this is where i took the photo [link] , the nature bg is mine and added later. i had some dusty pieces of glass that i broke for the shot, i hope u see them there. i got the title from the song lyrics, i think it expresses the moment well.

i wanted a girl with pretty lips and long eyelashes, so, one of my fav models; Tiitta
love the photo the lighting in it is great and the upward lifted expresion is absolutly loved for the feel that it gives... kind of reminds me of some of those films that you see where the protaganist is fighting for something greater than themselves, sort of like maximus on gladiator when he is dying... the song from the trailer really does work for it too... just wish i could figure out it's artist.
As far as I can tell, you did a really good job of adding the background. Looking at where you took the picture and looking at this again, it flabergasted me. I like how the light angles over her face and leaves her eyes almost totally in shadow.
i see the glass, and the background works well Soethign about her eyes really has that not dead but about to be feel like she knows it's coming, and she's at peace with that and just savouring her last breathe.
The girl looks like a boy to me.
I don't know why, but it looks like a treehouse accident to me...
don't ask me why...
from this perspective she just looks like a young boy.
this is one of my favorites out of your gallery.
