a dreamer dreaming... a ballerina dancing. the purity and softness make me see this in a very positive light; on the short term it seems like a highway to heaven. on the long term...well, u know.

i think that's it, i hope you enjoy the visuals (and the pinkness :lol:)

Wow. This is a great photograph. As you say, the initial impression is one of purity and softness - the pretty girl, the soft dress, the pink bow, the distractingly beautiful bare leg. (Sorry, I am a guy.) By itself, this is a wonderful image. But wait, there is that syringe, changing everything. It is impossible not to be moved by the proximity of that sharp needle to her vulnerable arm (and her right arm at that). How perfect that she should prepare her arm with a pink bow. Just perfect.

I am new to Deviant Art, but i have just finished looking at several thousand photos, many of them very good. This is by far my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

Try stretching this theme to women in classy attire. A woman in a business suit, evening gown, wedding dress or in Victorian attire. Just that needle & your imagination will have a powerful draw. Keep the make-up & hairstyle perfect - no Gothic themes.

I like how casually she's holding the syringe, I like the look in her eyes... at first I thought it was blank, but then I decided on the opposite, I also like the ribbon. It's kinda... "heh." It's all neatly tied in a bow... heh.
