to put it short, this is one of my fav subjects, something feminine where the sexuality shines through more less and with a slight weird edge (the drool that many have found surprising in the photo but without it would be only 50% of what it is now, for me anyway). i am also pretty happy about how it turned out (for once! :lol: let's see for how long). so, i hope you enjoy it too.


about the photo
i originally got the idea for this one about a year ago when Helmut Newton's exhibition was in town (no i didn't go see it), and the ads i saw had this photo in them [link]
i think it's a cool photo, but of course my mind immediately created my own version of it, where the woman would be kissing and drooling over the mirror. she might love herself, but it's not just that, maybe she's loosing her mind too, but only bit by bit...and it's not painful. the photo gives me a decadent, 19th century feel. when the wine was flowing and the life was debauched and immoral. then again, 21st century is very much the same ;)

i didn't photoshop her to look perfect because i think the face has personality as it is right now and it fits the photo. i hope your monitor isn't too dark to see the details etc.

Personally I think it's a great idea and I like the way you carried it out. The use of a mirror in a shot always intrigues me for some reason :shrug:
