dead series 3

dead series 3 redone.

this is 'inspired' by the murder of sharon tate (charles manson's people killed her). u can look for the original photo from google but this isn't intended to be identical, just very similar; wearing underwear, stabbed to death when 8.5 months pregnant, blood all over.

so the world is a bad place and sometimes i'm asked why do i have to recreate these horrible scenes. well, i dunno, but i want to do that and i don't see art having any limits when it comes to subjects. killing and shit like that evokes sad feelings in me and maybe this is my way of getting them out, and i hope that my photos could evoke feelings or reactions as well even if just momentarily. i'll just say if you don't like it, go away, that's how the world works.

this was a bitch to work on in photoshop, i almost lost all hope i could work on it forever i guess but this will have to do for now. i wanted to post this to celebrate my 1M pageviews but u guys were too fast... as a reminder, i finished my dead series with #10 but i was unhappy with some of the earlier works and so i've been replacing them with new ones, i have one more to go (#2) then the series is complete i had to buy carpet for this photo so i could spoil it, and underwear. was worth the money i think.
