I have an idea this photo made me think of.. and I figured maybe you could do it since you're quite into the beauty of gore.
There's this movie called Idle Hands I don't know if you've ever heard of it or seen it but there's a part in it near the end where a severed hand (Concept : Idle hands are the Devil's play thing) Anyways this severed hand is in a school room sharpening the tips of it's fingers. Making them well.. sharp and pointy.
Okay here's my idea that I thought you might want to try out:
A beautiful girl much like that one up there using a severed finger sharpened and bloody. She uses this finger as though it were a tube of lipstick.. putting blood red lipstick on. And there can be the whole dripping blood effect as well.
If I had the funds to do that sort of picture I deffinately would. Sadly I don't and I was wondering if maybe you could put my idea into effect. Don't let it go to waste you know.
very beautiful I have such a thing for red lipstick and red nailpolish..those both look utterly fantabulous and I feel this need to go out and get some of my own! darn my wallet and it's emptiness!!
But I htink most of all I'm loving the green of her eyes. It just really stands out for me. This is just so lovely
Reminds me of a photograph I recently saw in the french "Photo" magazine.... They held a great international Photo contest, and a winner in one of the categories (I think the theme was "Rouge"-" Red" was a shot quite simmilar in concept to this one...It showed a girl in B&W, with only a touch of red in her pupil... stranger still, that picture was shot by a Romanian...
...anyway, your picture has a more 1950s look to it, a feeling accentuated by the frame...not a deffinite , but certainly a very good photograph...
we have a big outdoor print in our country these days with an ad for a chocolate brand. The shot is a close-up on her lips with a finger smudging the chocolate lips on the lower-left side of the image. almost monochrome but with a slight hue towards chocolate.
its a nice shot, i like the nail polish and lipstick, but you kinda lose her face once you go past the lips...but thats just me, and you might have been going for that when you took it...
its still pretty good though!
First off the thing that sticks out at me the most is the vibrancy of the lipstick/nails, and her eyes, set on the almost sepia tone photo, the colours just jump out so much it's very stricking. Model is yet another beautiful woman, with stunning facial expressions, she also looks very sophisticated. Amazing light source, great reflection on the nails. I love this photo I also think it'd make an awesome print.
Wow! That is a very highly detailed photograph you couldn't otherwise appreciate unless in full view. The eyes, the skin, the lips and the are all beautifully detailed. I also like the overall glossy color of it. Nice work as usual.
i'm always mesmerized by the level of detail in your picture.
you manage to make every single liltte thing stand out.
and to make them not look like defects or imperfections but more like small pieces of a huge puzzle...
sometimes i feel i could get lost in details looking at your pictures...
wow, stunning as usual,
great lighting, nice colours i like the affect of the reds against the pale colours and neautralness [heh i made a word] of her. it even makes her eyes stand out,
