this piece was/is really important to me. i wanted a make-up ad kinda feel to it...and those of u who don't know, it's the logo of Chanel on her cheek, a prestige cosmetics brand.

the idea is from a postcard, but i doubt if that was the first time this idea was applied. it had a Nike logo, and was very different in style.

the image itself has gone through a lot of small adjustments, but the logo is absolutely untouched. it was very important for me to do it with such precision it could stand a close up look and no need for manip. so please check the raw 1:1 close-up here [link]
