then there's the factor that if the photo is "seriously" great, it'll get 10x more good comments, and if its not so good it only gets "50" good comments (i just threw that number out of my head, but u get the point.) so basically, the numbers might vary between artists, but there tends to be a relation between good and not so good photos and how many good comments they receive. so artist A's bad photo might get 1 good comment and their really good photo 10 comments. for me the relation is the same, the numbers are just different, and i appreciate the fact that i can tell if people like my photos more or less because i have an overview image of how many comments my photos 'usually' get.
and finally, it makes me feel grateful because whether those comments are considered deserved or not by others, the fact is that someone out there writes those positive comments, and i should be thankful for it. like, Madonna prolly sells a lot of cd's just because she is Madonna...u know some people will buy anything she does. but how did she get to that point? its not like she just emerged from the dark one day and *tadaa* she had a million fans? she did something *before* to in a way deserve these sales today. if the CD is bad, it might feel wrong, but that is how this world works. anyway so i am grateful to be in a position where people think so much of me, whether it is deserved or not.
It looks good, but im sure it would be better if i knew what it was.
